It's said that the Portuguese Emperor was aghast when he was served cachaça with coffee during a royal visit in 1816. He believed that these common drinks had no place at a fancy event, but we disagree. We love the way the rapadura helps fruit flavors bloom from both the coffee and the cachaça. Seems decadent enough to us.

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz Nossa Cachaça
  • 1 oz cold brew coffee
  • 2 bar spoons rapadura simple syrup (or demerara syrup)

Fill a rocks glass with ice and add all ingredients. Stir and serve.
