It's said that the Portuguese Emperor was aghast when he was served cachaça with coffee during a royal visit in 1816. He believed that these common drinks had no place at a fancy event, but we disagree. We love the way the rapadura helps fruit flavors bloom from both the coffee and the cachaça. Seems decadent enough to us.
Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice. Shake and serve over a large cube in a rocks glass.
